Jack Terrence Stroh, 85, passed away on Friday, February 17th, 2023 at Northwest Health - La Porte.

 

Jack was born on August 26th, 1937 in Paxton, IL, to Albert and Pauline (Johnson) Stroh.

 

On September 26th, 1958, he married Karen Sayles, who survives.  Also surviving are his daughter, Angela "Angie" (Alan) Palmer of La Porte; as well as his beloved dog, Skippy.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Jack was an elementary teacher for over 30 years at both Kingsbury and Lincoln Elementary Schools.  He was an avid reader. 

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. 

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the VFW Post #9423, 4202 North 400 East, Rolling Prairie.
