Mary Louise Ginther, 68, of La Porte, IN, passed away February 7th, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.  Mary was born on May 2, 1954 to Edward F. and Barbara (Hopkins) Ginther.

 

Mary loved spending time with family watching movies, playing games, and listening to audio books.

 

Surviving Mary are her son, Michael (Kandi) Ginther; and her beloved Aiden Ginther, Emmerson "Emmy" Ginther, and Zachary Lane.

 

Mary comes from a very large, blended family.

 

She is survived by a stepfather, Charles Griffin, Sr.; aunt, Bonnie (Walt) Faulstich; uncle William Hopkins; multiple siblings and stepsiblings, Edward (Lashaunda) Ginther, Mark (Jennifer) Ginther, Kerry (Judy) Ginther, Jim (Mary) Lee, Linda (Robert) Hough, Theresa Halley (Mark Mrozek), Charles "Chico" Griffin, Jr., Virginia "Ginger" (Ron) Green, Penny Griffin, and Jacqueline "Jody" (Paul) Davis; as well as 2 brothers-in-law, David Connett and Leon Bozek.

 

Mary has so many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.  Her loss will be felt by so many.  She will be greatly missed.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; both sides grandparents; sisters, Sherry Connett and Deby Bozek; 1 niece; and 2 nephews.

 

No services will be held at this time, but the family will have a memorial, for family and friends, in the near future.
