Diane Wilma Hubner, 72, of La Porte, Indiana passed away February 9th, 2023.

 

Diane was born November 9th, 1950, in La Porte, Indiana to the late Alfred Carl and Harriett Wilma (Schultz) Hubner.

Diane graduated from New Prairie High School in 1969. While in high school she worked at Pattie Cake. After she graduated Diane was employed at Dwyer as an accountant, which was where she retired from. She also enjoyed bowling, playing cards, playing the piano, and visiting with friends and family.

 

Diane is survived by a sister, Geraldine “Geri” (Terry) Snyder of Sebring, Florida; nieces, Laura Stoewer of La Porte, Indiana and Pam Dickey of DelRay Beach, Florida; nephews, Doug (Donna) Schooff of Woodridge, Illinois, and Glean Schooff of La Porte, Indiana; and two great nephews, Levi (Brittany) Schooff of La Porte, Indiana and Pace Stoewer of La Porte, Indiana. She was preceded by her parents, a sister & brother-in-law , Lorrain (Vern) Schooff; and a nephew, Matthew Schooff.

 

A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m., Monday, February 13th, 2023, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana with a Celebration of Life service at 6:30 p.m.
