Larry Keith Price, 73, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 4:15 p.m, Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 at Northwest Health, La Porte.

 

Larry was born April 3rd, 1949, in Evansville, Indiana, to Ansel Price and Deloris (Kinder) Price.

 

Larry and his wife, Darlene, and were married in Michigan City, August 13th, 1994, and have been together for 38 1/2 years.

 

Larry was a simple guy who loved his family and liked to help people.  Larry would meet with fellow co-workers once a month for breakfast, calling themselves the Romeo Breakfast Club. Larry enjoyed playing Yahtzee with his wife, Darlene, and kept a running score since 1993, when they were still dating. He was very fond of sisters-in-law, Linda Berry and Kim Holtzer.  Larry was born again and saved on September 11th, 2016 and was baptized September 18th, 2016 by Pastor Daniel Fleming in Pine Lake.  Larry was called to be a Deacon at Bread of Life Church on May 13th, 2018.

 

Surviving is his wife, Darlene; one son, Larry Keith Price Jr. (AKA, Cody Masters); one daughter, Christine Masters; two brothers, Donnie Price and Roy Brundage Jr.; three sisters, Jackie Coyer, Connie Francis, Candy VanSchoyck; three grandchildren, Jacob Alexander Kevon Fleming, Nellijah Ivy Lenay Fleming, Naomie Bella Lynn Fleming; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Preceding in death were his parents; daughter, Jeannie Fleming; and great friends, Ray Long, survived by his wife, Brenda.

 

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 Johnson Road La Porte, (219) 362-3100 with Pastor Joseph Watterson officiating. Visitation and viewing will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
