Daniel Floyd Lotter, 67, of La Porte, passed away on Saturday, February 4th, 2023.

 

Daniel was born on July 25th, 1955 in La Porte, IN, to Coy and Beulah Bell (Hancock) Lotter.

 

On September 22nd, 1995, he married Kaye Diane Kinch, who preceded him in death.  Surviving Daniel are his sisters, Donna (Harold) Rowe of New Buffalo, MI, Diana (Jerry) McCoy of Mill Creek, and Dora (Clyde) Armstrong of Mill Creek; brothers, Douglas Lotter of Mill Creek and Dewayne Lotter of Mill Creek; children, Sherry (Gordon) McKinley, Kymberly Bodmer, Sharon (Steve) Patten, and Steve (Sheila) Armstrong, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

 

He was preceded by his wife; parents; and 2 brothers, Dennis and Donald Lotter.

 

Daniel was a Machinist for many years at Screw Machine Products.  He enjoyed football, particularly the Indianapolis Colts, fishing, and old cars.  Daniel will be remembered as a man that placed family first and foremost.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15th, 2023 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Burial will follow at Sauktown Cemetery.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
