Matthew David Lambert, 45, of La Porte, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2022.

  

Matthew was born in La Porte, IN, on December 13, 1976 to Leonard Ray Lambert and Cathy Ann (Bupp) Lambert. 

 

Matthew is survived by his children, Megan and Luke Lambert, both of La Porte; parents, Leonard (Sherry) Lambert of South Bend and Cathy Lambert of Oviedo, FL; and brother, John Lambert of South Bend.

 

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Monzela Lambert and Julia Bupp and grandfather, Herbert Bupp.

 

Matthew was an auto mechanic.  He attended La Porte Church of God, where he was involved with their Man-Up program.  In high school, Matthew was involved in band.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, December 5, 2022 at First Church of God, 2020 E. Lincolnway, La Porte, IN 46350, with Pastor Ryan Shockey officiating.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2022 and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the church. 

 

Memorial contributions may be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.
