Wayne L. Dudeck

Wayne L. Dudeck, 83, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022.

 

Wayne was born March 7, 1939, in La Porte, Indiana to the late Raymond and Helen (Krumrie) Dudeck. On October 24, 1959, Wayne married Sandra M. Garrett who survives. 

 

Wayne was the founder and prior owner of Dudeck’s Pine Country. He had a band, “Wayne Dudeck and the Musical Dukes”. Wayne was a member of St. John Kanty Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus 1542, St. Michael Council, and Knights of Columbus 4th. Degree, St. John Paul II Assembly #3646.

 

Wayne is survived by his wife, Sandra; his children, Lance (Sherri) Dudeck of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Greg (Rhonda) Dudeck of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, Nanette (Tom) Wagner of La Porte, Indiana, Connie (Max) Eckert of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Missy (Bob) Lang of La Porte, Indiana; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gloria Weaver.

 

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. 

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2022,at St. John Kanty Catholic Church in Rolling Prairie. Reverend Michael Heimer will officiate. Burial will follow in Posey Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends may gather on Friday at 9 a.m. in the funeral home.
