Austin Norman Blad

Austin Norman Blad, 35 of Mill Creek, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 4, 2022. He was born on October 10, 1987, to his parents, Barbara (Tuholski) Blad of Mill Creek, and Allen Blad of Dallas, Pennsylvania. Austin worked in the computer field. He was a sports enthusiast and loved Notre Dame and especially ND football and basketball . He attended Indiana University where he studied sport management. 

 

Austin is survived by his parents, and siblings, Hannah Blad of South Bend, Erik (Leah Hunt) of Niles, Michigan, Garrett (Luiz Vilaca) Blad of South Bend; niece and nephew, Stella and Logan; and his paternal grandfather, Russell W. Blad of Bremen, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Caroline Mae Blad; and his maternal grandparents, Joseph F. and Mary M. Tuholski.

 

Cremation will take place.  A Mass was celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Walkerton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte, Indiana.
