Jeremy Perrin

Jeremy Perrin, of Michigan City, passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2022.  Jeremy was only 41 years old.  Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss.

He was born July 12, 1981, in Michigan City, Indiana, to Jeff and Brenda (Pedzinski) Perrin.

After graduating from Michigan City High School in 1999, Jeremy worked different jobs, always pursuing his amazing artistic talent.  He moved to Indianapolis, where he had his only child.  He lived there until last year, where he made many friends and touched so many people.  He had so many talents, but most notably was his ability to draw and sketch anything and bring it to life on canvas.  This talent came so easily and was evident at a young age.  His portraits and drawings show this natural and raw talent and the commissions and work he’s done over the years will keep his legacy alive.  He was talented in so many ways.  When he was a young, skinny boy he used to pretend he had big muscles.  As an adult he made that come true by pursuing bodybuilding and winning awards and first-place titles.  His creative and artistic soul also showed in his love of music.  He taught himself how to play the guitar and harmonica and could often be found carrying around one or the other.  Jeremy’s kind heart, gentle and soft-spoken nature touched and helped more people than he was aware.  His proudest accomplishment was the birth of his beautiful daughter.  She inherited his artistic ability and he loved spending time drawing with her.  He always looked at her with pride and talked about how amazed he was that he produced such a beautiful person.  His memory will live on through her and everyone he touched in his life.

Surviving are his daughter, Kamryn Perrin of Indianapolis, IN; parents, Brenda Perrin of Michigan City and Jeff Perrin of La Porte, IN; two sisters, Nicole (Ricky) Santana, and Amber Grantham of Michigan City, IN; one brother, Ryan (Natalia) Perrin of Michigan City, IN; paternal grandparents, Lolly Perrin of Michigan City, IN, and Lecil (Mary) Perrin of Tompkinsville, KY; and several aunts, uncles, niece and nephews.

Preceding him in death are maternal grandparents, Roger Pedzinski and Lois Keen.

A funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 12 noon, Monday, November 14, 2022 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd, La Porte, (219) 362-3100.
