Patricia A. Lewis, 85, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, October 31, 2022 at 7:50 pm in her home.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.  Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, Saturday at the funeral chapel.    

 

She was born January 21, 1937 in Michigan City, IN to the late Anthony and  Mary (Demski) Putz. On October 13, 1956 in Michigan City, IN she married Kenneth Lewis who preceded her on February 23, 2016.

 

Surviving are five daughters, Kristine (Rodney) Krassow, Merri (James) Hirt, Kathryn (Allen) Schoonaert, Victoria (Michael) Raymer and Susan Walsh, all of Michigan City, IN; son, Randy (Robin) Lewis of La Porte, IN; and 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

 

She also was preceded in death by her sister, Sandra Burgener.

   

Patricia had worked as a bookkeeper at Jaymar Ruby. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Patricia enjoyed shopping, gardening, cross word puzzles and going out to eat.  She loved to spend time with her family and vacationing with the love of her life, her husband Kenneth.
