Norman Lee Heiman, 70, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2022, at Majestic Care of Fort Wayne.

 

Norman was born on December 12, 1951, in La Porte, IN, to Robert and Marie (Wildfang) Heiman.

 

Surviving are his sister, Donna Dilts of La Porte, as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marie Heiman; sister, Hilda Cordova; 2 young brothers, Bobby and Gilbert Heiman; best friend and brother-in-law, Patrick Dilts; and nephew, Greg Doll.

 

Norman was a laborer for many years at Dwyer Instruments.  He was a longtime member of PNA.  Norman enjoyed golfing, bowling, and camping.  He was often found cheering on the White Sox and cheering when the Cubs lost.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  Inurnment will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Tracy Cemetery, Hamlet.
