Maria Webb, 72, of La Porte, passed away peacefully 8:51 p.m., on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Franciscan Health, Michigan City.

 

She was born April 20, 1950, in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, to Juan Cruz and Consuelo (Rivera) Rivera.

 

On March 3, 1986, in San Berdino, CA, she married Stanley Fay Webb, who preceded her in death.

 

Also preceding in death were parents; three brothers, Jose Juan Cruz, Radames Rivera, and Angel Manuel Cruz; and two sisters, Evangelista Rivera and Maria Delgado.

 

Surviving are three sons, Nector (Heather) Cruz, Carlos (Heidi) Miranda and Alejandro (Kristin) Miranda; six sisters, Lydia Sanchez, Neida Rivera, Lucy Lino, Maria Cruz, Malta Rivera, and Alicia Rivera; three brothers, Benjamin Cruz, Benedicto Rivera, and Luis Rivera; one aunt, Maria L. Rivera; eight grandchildren, Kevin Vanderpool, Timothy (Luz) Cruz, Alejandro (Stephanie) Cruz, Cody (Cat) Miranda, Justin Miranda, Aalana Jenkins, Dylan Jenkins and Jackson Jenkins; two great grandchildren, Tegan Cruz and Luke Cruz; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her beautiful, lovely, and friendly cat, Ruby.

 

A funeral celebrating her life will be held at 12 p.m., Friday, October 28, 2022 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte (219) 362-3100.  Visitation and viewing will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte following services.
