Phyllis Sacks, 89, from Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 7:02 pm in her home.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 17, 2022 at Hanna Cemetery, Hanna, IN with Pastor Larry Owen officiating. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
She was born March 12, 1933 in La Porte, IN to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Romaine) Hall. On March 7, 1953 in La Porte, IN she married Wallace Sacks who preceded her on March 11, 2022. They were married 69 years.
Surviving are her son, Garry (Cheryl) Sacks of Michigan City, IN; six grandchildren, Isaac (Kari) Sacks, Steven Sacks, Andrew (Cassie) Sacks, Heather (Ryan) Eddy, Jacob (Kim) LeFavour and Emily LeFavour; great-grandchild, 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen (Ron) Skrip of Oregon; and her son-in-law, Reid LeFavour of Las Vegas, NV.
She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Diane LeFavour; and sister, Doris Neulieb.
Phyllis enjoyed antiquing, gardening, decorating and being with her family.
