Charles Ray Buck, 80, of Mishawaka, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022.

 

Charles was born on September 24, 1942, in Brazil, IN, to Frederick James and Lorraine (Dolly) Buck.

 

On December 9, 1962, in Jasonville, IN, he married Brenda Joyce Boston who preceded him in death. Surviving are his children, Edie (Jerry Seymour) Wise of Walkerton, Kelly (Mike) Aroney of Naples, FL, and Dru (Mique) Buck of Edwardsburg, MI; son-in-law, Daniel Wise of Georgetown, TX; 5 grandchildren, C.J. Engle, Doug (Shavawn) Wise, Arun Buck, Ryun Buck, and Lauren Aroney; 1 great-grandchild, Daniel Wise; and close friend, Myrna Russell.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and son, Kenny Buck.

 

Charles was in maintenance most of his life.  He was an avid sports fan, following the St. Louis Cardinals, Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame. Charles was also a fan of any team his grandchildren played for. He was a former UAW Local President.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
