Albert M. Morelli, 62, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 10:10 pm in Memorial Hospital of South Bend.

 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 1506 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN with  Rev. Walter Ciesla officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Tuesday and from 8:30 am - 9:30 am Wednesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.   

 

He was born March 3, 1960 in Everett, MA to the late Anthony and Doris (Stevezzoli) Morelli. On September 15, 1990 in Michigan City, IN he married Angela Smith who survives in Michigan City, IN.

 

Also surviving are two daughters, Allison (David) Sickles and Abigailjane Morelli both of Michigan City, IN; two sons, Nicholas (Kevin Neighbors) Morelli of Michigan City, IN and Gabriel (Angelica) Morelli of La Porte, IN; three grandchildren, Paislee, Jameson and Corbin; two sisters, Nancy Womboldt of Waltham, MA and Elaine (Brian) Brooman of Millis, MA; and two brothers, Anthony (Rita) Morelli of Lynnville, MA and Richard (Kathy) Morelli of Saugas, MA.

 

He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Isabella Morelli; and brother-in-law, Howie Womboldt.   

 

Albert retired after 21 years from the U.S. Coast Guard and was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. He enjoyed cooking and boating.
