David Allen Eversman, 68, formerly of La Porte, Indiana died August 18, 2022 under hospice care at Heritage Health Care in West Lafayette, Indiana.

 

David grew up in rural Clay City, Indiana where he attended elementary school. At age 10, his family moved to Alleman, Iowa where he graduated from North Polk High School in 1972. He attended both Iowa State University and the University of Iowa.

 

David was born on October 14, 1953, to Reuben and Lois (Schroeder) Eversman in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

 

He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving include his mother, Lois Eversman of La Porte; brother Dan (Tina), nephews Noah, Conor, Nikolas, and Jonas of Lafayette; sister Ruth Eversman of Ames, Iowa; sister Rachel Siegel (Mark), niece Sarah Hyler and nephew Matthew of Des Moines, IA.

 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 4 p.m., at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue La Porte, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. prior to the service. Pastor Jo Ellen Chadwick will officiate.

 

Burial will follow the next day, September 4, at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery in New Knoxville, Ohio.
