Daniel "Danny" S. Jesko

Daniel "Danny" S. Jesko, 80, of La Porte, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Casa of Hobart.

 

Danny was born on September 24, 1941 in Chicago, IL, to Walter J. and Anna C. (Hybiack) Jesko.

 

On October 11, 1969, he married Nancy Pahs who survives.  Also surviving are his daughters, Sherri (Michael) Matthews of Monticello and Kathleen (Billy) Conlin of La Porte; 3 grandchildren, Stephanie (Tony) Almaguer of Great Lakes, IL, Corey (Ashley) Conlin of Chesterton, and Alex Conlin of La Porte; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Diane (Mark) Boesdorfer of Dover, FL and Marsha (David) Kindrick of Lawton, OK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ronald and James Jesko.

 

Danny was a tool & dye maker for many years at Allis Chalmers and M.C.T.D.   He was a proud member of the La Porte Polish Falcons.

 

He enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, woodworking, golfing and bowling. Danny enjoyed driving motorcycles and classic cars, owning two classic cars himself.  He held very fond memories of taking his father fishing.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 22, 2022 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home. 

 

Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice.
