LuAnn Nebelung, 81, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022.

 

LuAnn was born on December 10, 1940, in La Porte to John and Susan (Harness) Blakeman. On April 29, 1961, she married Charles Nebelung who survives. Also surviving is a son, Jon (Lori) Nebelung of La Porte; a daughter, Tina (Jim) Daisy of La Porte; grandchildren, Jon (Amanda) Nebelung, Nicole Nebelung, Matthew (Asia) Daisy, and David Daisy; great-grandchildren, Kylen, Bella, Avery, Lillie, Jonny, Zak, Olivia, Elliot, Jayce, and Oaklynn; and a sister, Judy Karbowsky of La Porte. She was preceded by siblings, Shirley Zirzow, James Arndt, Robert Arndt, and George Arndt.

 

LuAnn was a Nursing Administrator at The Willows in Valparaiso for 30 years, retiring in 2004. She was a member of the American College of Healthcare Administrators, bowled in bowling leagues, an avid Cubs fan, and loved spending time with family.

 

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2022, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana where a funeral service will begin at 7 p.m.

 

Private burial will be at Pine Lake Cemetery.
