Charles "Chuck" Wayne Worthen , 66, of Walkerton, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Northwest Health - La Porte.

 

Chuck was born on December 20, 1955 in Paducah, KY, to Robert "Gene" Eugene and Doris Marie (Kaylor) Worthen.

 

On July 16, 1990 in Valparaiso, IN, he married Pamela Jean Cawby who survives.   Also surviving are his children, Ryan (Tifani) Williams of Kouts, Katie (James) Saunders of Hebron, and Emily (Matthew) Robbins of Walkerton; 5 grandchildren, Hunter and Olivia Williams, Benjamin Saunders, and CJ and Bobbie Robbins; sister, Marilyn (William) Nicholson; many 4 legged friends; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Leon Robbins; and nephew, Martin William Nicholson.

 

Chuck was a truck driver for most of his life.  He loved fishing, hunting, and cooking.  Chuck was a member of the Trapping Club, Lions Club, Fish Lake Conservation Club, and Merchant Marines.  He proudly previously served as both a Boy Scout and a Sea Scout leader.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Dave Peery officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
