Beverly "Jeanne" Walker, 94, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Brickyard Healthcare-La Porte Care Center.

 

Jeanne was born on May 26, 1928 in North Russell, NY, to Harold and Evelyn (Blanchard) Lumley.

 

On April 14, 1949 in Canton, NY, she married Lowell who preceded her in death.  Surviving Jeanne are her sons, Harold (Chris) Walker of Union Mills, Scott (Susan) Walker of Dexter, NY, and Geoffrey (Alison) Walker of Vienna, VA; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; a younger brother, Weldon Lumley of Canton, NY; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and daughter, Beverley Martin.

 

Jeanne was a homemaker.  She enjoyed sewing, bowling, and baking donuts.  Jeanne was a member of Union Mills Baptist Church.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  A private family service will take place at a later date.
