Dale E. Lintner

Dale E. Lintner, 62, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 10:22 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at VNA Hospice Center, Valparaiso.

 

He was born September 4, 1959, in Valparaiso, Indiana, to Dale D. and Roma (Tyson) Lintner.

 

Dale attended Lighthouse Assembly of God, Kingsford Heights. He retired as a wirer in 2020 from Vanair Manufacturing. Dale enjoyed fishing, playing the drums and singing. He performed in many bands over the years. Dale was always willing to help others, got along with everyone and never met a stranger.

 

On February 13, 2003, in La Porte, Indiana, he married Kathy (Hawkins) Lintner, who survives.

 

Also surviving are his five children, Jamie (Larry) Hohalek, Gina (Brett) Sears, Jacob (Emily Wright) Lintner, Hannah (James) Morton, and Heather (Larry Sheets) Locke; two sisters, Donna (Brent) Mansfield and Diana Sheffer; nine grandchildren, Scarlett, Hayden, Violett, Iris, Dalton, Dylan, Samantha, Swayzee, and Lily; three brothers-in-law, Michael (Jan) Hawkins, Chis (Jeny) Hawkins, and Greg (Margie) Hawkins; and several aunts and uncles.

 

Preceding in death were his parents, Dale D. Lintner and Roma Clendenen.

 

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100 with Pastor Doug Hawkins officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
