Paul Brian Kieszkowski, 36, of Michigan City, passed away peacefully at 5:25 a.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in his home surrounded by his beloved family.

 

He was born May 16, 1986, in Michigan City, Indiana, to James "Jim" Lee and Pamela (Vernard) Kieszkowski.

 

Paul graduated from Michigan City High School in 2004. He received his Mechanical Engineering Technology degree after graduating from Purdue University West Lafayette in 2009. He was a Project Manager for Circle R Mechanical for 4.5 years. Prior to his employment there, he worked for his family business, Whole House Mechanical, Michigan City.

 

He was always on the hunt on Saturday mornings for the next pair of shoes for his large collection. Paul enjoyed collecting and buying shoes, especially Jordan's. He also enjoyed basketball and cars. He will be remembered by having a smile that brightened every room that he walked into.

 

Surviving are his father, Jim (Cheryl) Kieszkowski of Michigan City; two siblings, Jeff (Jenny) Kieszkowski of Michigan City and Pat (Keri) Kieszkowski of La Porte; two nieces, Malerie and Madison Kieszkowski; several aunts and uncles; hundreds of friends; and dog, Kobe.

 

Preceding in death were his mother; and grandparents, Russell and Barbara Vernard and Marvin and Bernice Kieszkowski.

 

A funeral celebrating his life will be held at 6 p.m., Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte (219) 362-3100 with Deacon Bob Bucheit officiating. Visitation and viewing will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
