Jack Russell Ryder

Jack Russell Ryder, 69, died unexpectedly, Saturday, October 30 at John Peter Smith Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas.

 

He was born May 31, 1952, in Knox, In to Robert and Mary (Rudd) Ryder.

 

Jack honorably served his country in the United States Navy for 8 years during the early 1970s. He was a retired auto mechanic and had a passion for tinkering with things as well as making YouTube videos of cars, planes, and music. He was also fon of German Musik.

 

He is survived by his daughters: Jennifer Ryder Chapman and Lindsey Ryder, both of Arlington, TX; and son Zachary Ryder of Orlando, FL; one brother, John Ryder of La Porte, IN; 2 sisters, Joy (Ken) Davidson of St. Joseph, MI and Jeanne (Ken) Gumm of La Porte, IN and several nieces and nephews. 

 

He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Janice Henry.

 

His body was donated to the University of North Texas Science Center for medical science.

 

A private memorial service will be held on May 31, 2022, at Pine Lawn Cemetary.
