Matthew Paul Colston, 34, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.

 

Matthew was born on July 23, 1987 in La Porte, IN, to Henry and Deborah (Collings) Colston.

 

Surviving Matthew are his mother, Deborah Colston of La Porte, IN; daughter, Leticia Ann West of La Porte, IN; twin brother, Erik (Elizabeth) Colston of La Porte, IN; brothers, Shawn Colston of La Porte, IN and Ernie (Evelyn) Nemeth of Marcellus, MI; sisters, Heather (Dan) Connoly of Peru, IN and Holly (Mike) Rippe of Unions Mills, IN; aunt, Denise Komon of Walkerton, IN; grandmother, Cora Nemeth of Walkerton,  IN; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Colston, and grandfather, Ernest Nemeth.

 

Matthew was an automotive mechanic for most of his life.  He enjoyed working on cars and riding his motorcycle.  Matthew loved to play guitar.  More than anything, Matthew dearly loved his daughter and enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  A Private Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place at a later date.
