Lorraine Sorter (Thomas), age 89, of Anoka, Minnesota, passed away May 8, 2022.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years and father of her children, Arvin Thomas; son, Kim Thomas; and husband of 24 years, Ernie Sorter.

 

Lorraine is survived by daughter, Jan (Terry) Schroeder; son, Tod Thomas; and daughter, Ava (Gene) Abraham; two sisters and many nieces and nephews.
One of her greatest blessings in life was being a grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

 

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2022 at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, Indiana.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
