Steven Wayne Shepherd, 61, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 at Northwest Health - La Porte.

 

Steve was born on February 26, 1961 in Knox, IN, to Kenny and LueVerna Shepherd.

 

Surviving Steven are his children, Cynthia (Michael) Charizopoulos of Naperville, IL and Steven A. Shepherd of Valparaiso, IN; 2 grandchildren, Evelyn and Theodore; parents, Kenny and LueVerna Shepherd of Union Mills, IN; sister, Sandy (Jerry) Werner of Unions Mills, IN; 2 nephews, Adam (Tricia) Werner of Union Mills and Joe (Krystal) Werner of Brownsburg, IN; and 4 great nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brandi.

 

Steve was a foreman with the Canadian National Railroad for 35 years.  He enjoyed hunting, grilling, and watching college sports. 

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
