Jeffrey Alan Burchiel, 48, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022.

 

Jeffrey was born March 13, 1974, in La Porte, Indiana to Larry R. Burchiel and Marjorie (Pratt) Burchiel.

 

Jeffrey was a self-employed carpenter. He liked to bowl and rolled a perfect 300 game.  He also loved to play Texas hold ‘em, his dogs, and music, especially Pink Floyd.  Jeffrey was a Chicago White Sox Fan. He was big hearted and would help anyone out at any time.

 

Jeffrey is survived by his mother, Marge Burchiel of La Porte, Indiana; his loving partner, Marti Okrzesik of La Porte, Indiana; two sons, Logan (Christina) Burchiel-Powers of Plymouth, Indiana and Brent Burchiel of New Haven, Kentucky; a grandson, David Burchiel-Powers; and a sister, Kris (Mark) Evenburg of La Porte, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be from 4-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022, where a funeral service will follow at 6:30 p.m. at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana 46350. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
