Charles Edward Schwark Jr. also known as “Chuck,” “Ed” or “Charlie,” age 69 of LaPorte, passed away at his winter home in Lake Placid, Florida on March 5, 2022.
Chuck was born April 7, 1952, in LaPorte, Indiana. He enlisted in the US Army in 1972 and served honorably until his reserve duty ended in 1978. On January 20, 1973, he married the former Ms. Christine Harness. They recently celebrated their 49th anniversary.
Chris survives, along with their sons Shawn (Nicole) Schwark and Scott Schwark, both of LaPorte. Surviving as well are 6 grandchildren Cael, Lauren, Hayden, Rylan, Presley and Ellie. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles. E. Schwark Sr. and Evelyn (Hogard) Wawrzynski as well as his sister Sherri Brugh.
Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the 12:00 pm funeral service on Monday, March 14, 2022, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in LaPorte. Interment will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte.
