Linda Nadine Wright, "aka Old Lady", 70, of Kingsford Heights, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

  

Linda was born in La Porte, IN, on July 31, 1951 to Freddie Walden and Marilyn Luise (Yaden) Elkins. 

 

Surviving are her children, Mickey Harvey of La Porte, Marilyn (Santos) Guerrero of Kingsford Heights and Tammie (Bryan) Lain of Rolling Prairie; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Zane (Marsha) Elkins of Kingsbury and Perry (Sherry) Elkins of Florida; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Christina Harvey.

 

Linda worked at McDonald's for many years.  She enjoyed being on Facebook, playing games, being with her family, and going to church.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at  Kingsford Heights Wesleyan Church, 465 Evanston Road, Kingsford Heights.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of the service on Saturday at the church.
