Raymond A. Cupples, 80, Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at 9:30 pm in his home.

 

Visitation will be from 11:30 am - 1:30pm on Friday March 4, 2022, followed by Funeral services at 1:30 pm at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Chaplain Missy Buche officiating. Private burial will follow in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.  

 

He was born September 1, 1941 in Chicago, IL to the late Henry and Emily (Wisniewski) Cupples. On August 15, 1980 in Oak Forest, IL he married Rose Marie Schaafsma who survives in Trail Creek, IN.

 

Also surviving are two sons, Mike (Linda) Cupples of Rockford, IL and Steve (Robin) Cupples of Michigan City, IN; daughter, Amanda (Daniel) Fowler of Michigan City, IN; six grandchildren, Emily, Carlin, and Rylee Cupples and Derrek, Danielle and Andrew Fowler.

 

He was also preceded in death, by his daughter, Melissa Cupples.

 

Raymond was an auto mechanic at Ford Motor Company and an entrepreneur. He loved being in the sun, taking naps, working on cars, and making home repairs. Ray was a South sider Pollock who enjoyed his viddles.
