Deborah C. New Paholski, 67, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at 4:04 pm in Northwest Health-Porter, Valparaiso, IN.
Services will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
She was born June 17, 1954 in Muncie, IN to the late Ira and Lois (Chadwick) New. On May 2, 1987 in Michigan City, IN she married Michael Paholski who survives in Michigan City, IN.
Also, surviving are two sisters, Linda New and Laura (Jeff) Moyer; brother, Larry (Jude) New; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Deborah retired as a school teacher for the Michigan City Public Schools. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Michigan City Senior Center and the St. John's Ladies Guild. Deborah was an advocate for Indiana Donor Network and the PKD Foundation. She enjoyed the outdoors, walking, nature, reading and singing.
