Barbara Ann Fuzy, September 19, 1947 – February 11, 2022, 74, of Michigan City, passed away peacefully at 5:30 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022 at Brentwood of La Porte.

 

She was born September 19, 1947, in Michigan City, Indiana, to John and Rita (Adrian) Piotrowski.

 

Barbara was a member of the Red Hat Society for 5 years. She was an auxiliary member of the American Legion, Michigan City. Barbara traveled extensively and lived in Italy for six years.

 

On April 23, 1977 in Newport, Rhode Island, she married Michael Fuzy III, who survives.

 

Also surviving are her three children, Michael (Clarissa) Fuzy IV of Panama City Beach, Florida, Katherine (Khun) Khiev of South Bend, John (Tina) Fuzy of Pensacola, FL; eight grandchildren, Michael Fuzy V, Tony Fuzy, John Khiev, Nate Khiev, Zander Khiev, Andrew Khiev, Mia Fuzy, Juliann Fuzy; and sister-in-law, Ilona Smerekanich.

Preceding in death were her parents, and brother, Bill Adrian.
