Dale Lee Kintzele, 72, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022, at 1:09 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6:00 pm, Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm Thursday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel.
He was born May 22, 1949, in Fort Wayne, IN to the late Robert and Viola Kintzele.
Surviving are his wife, Colleen Kintzele of Michigan City, IN; two daughters, Jama (Jeremy) Hancock of Rolling Prairie, IN and Jenny (Moritz) Lux of LaPorte, IN; son, Damian (Amy) Kinztele of Michigan City, IN; and grandchildren, Juliana, Katie, Evan, Ava, and Kaige.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Kintzele.
Dale retired as a correctional officer at Westville Correctional Facility and was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran of Vietnam. He enjoyed sunbathing, swimming, his pets, and spending time with family. Dale loved Jesus.
