Grant Scott Tucker, 57, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Northwest Health - La Porte.

 

Grant was born on July 30, 1964 in La Porte, IN, to David and Inez (Stevens) Tucker.

 

On September 15, 1984, at Grace Baptist Church, La Porte, he married Tina Faulkenburg who survives.  Grant and Tina enjoyed 44 years together, married for 38 years.  Also surviving are his 2 children, Rachel Tucker and Johnathan Tucker, both of La Porte; 1 grandchild, Hannah Vaughn of La Porte; brother, Lance Tucker of La Porte; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

Grant was preceded in death by his parents, David and Inez Tucker; brother, Bryan Tucker; and sister, Gina Tucker. 

 

Grant was a loving, caring man who was loved by all.  He had a sense of humor that was unmatched.  Grant was a dedicated family man, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  He was an avid music lover who also enjoyed collecting guns and competitive shooting.  His passion for the open road led him to driving semi for 32 years with over 2 million miles under his belt.

 

Grant will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends.  He created wonderful memories for those who loved him.  Rest in peace to an amazing soul and loving man.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering will be held from 1 - 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 805 4th Street, La Porte.  Additional off-street parking is available.  Floral arrangements will be received at this same address.
