Sally Anita Stroud, 65, of Michigan City, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Franciscan Health Michigan City.

 

Sally was born on August 12, 1956 in Valparaiso, IN, to Ord and Kathleen (Moore) Greening.

 

Surviving Sally are her siblings, Raymond (Helen) Greening of Michigan City, Thomas Greening of Michigan City, and Glenda Fagg of Garfield, AR; and 8 nieces and nephews, Glenora Shelton, Kimberly Wyman, Robert Shelton, Deana Smith, Joyce Gardner, John Fagg, William Fagg, and Penny Ramey.

 

She was preceded by her parents; siblings, Sue (John) Shelton and Doreen (Roy) Moore; and 5 nieces and nephews, Ord Shelton, Eddy Shelton, Richard Shelton, Gertrude Losnecki, and Roy Moore III.

 

Sally retired as a sales clerk from Carson Pirie Scott, Michigan City.  For many years, she enjoyed raising Scottish Terriers.  She enjoyed gardening.  From her youth, growing up on the family farm, Sally had a love for caring for horses.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Pastor Bob Vale officiating.  Cremation will follow the service.

 

A private family time will be held from 3 - 4 p.m. with the Public visitation beginning at 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

 

The family respectfully asks that facial masks be worn and social distancing be observed by anyone attending the visitation or service.
