Cindy Lou Beck, 60, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at 10:06 am in her home.

 

A celebration of life gathering will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.    

 

She was born December 19, 1961, in Rochester, MN to the late Glenn and Marcella (Vrieze) Shipton. In Porter, IN she married Louis Beck who survives.

 

Also surviving are two daughters, Gracie (Ben Janatik) Beck of Michigan City, IN and Greta (Caleb Crawford) Beck of Westville, IN; step-daughter, Alexandria (Matthew) Franks of Ohio; two grandchildren, Payton Franks and Christopher Franks; sister, Susan Shipton of Preston, MN; two brothers, Robert  Shipton of Spring Valley, MN and Eric Shipton of Preston, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Cindy was the Co-Owner at Gene's Septic Service. She enjoyed baking, cooking, canning, making wine, spending time with family and friends and enjoying life.
