Dwight E. Wood, III, 44, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022.

 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 28, 2022 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Chaplain Alan Harvey officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Friday, at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel. 

  

He was born September 19, 1977 in Anderson, IN to Dwight E. and Terri (Finley) Wood, Jr.

 

Surviving are his mother, Terri Wood of Trail Creek; unborn baby girl; sister, Kari (Joe Bush) Boyd of Michigan City, IN; brother, Scott (Melissa) Wood of Michigan City, IN; grandmother, Virginia Wood of Anderson, IN; partner, Destiny Scraper of Jasper, IN; and nieces and nephews. 

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight E. Wood, Jr.

 

Dwight was a Physician Assistant and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of various local Veterans Organizations. Dwight enjoyed playing rugby and loved his family.
