Lori Ann Scott, 58, of La Porte, passed away unexpectedly at 9:04 a.m., Sunday, January 16, 2022 in her home.
She was born August 13, 1963, in Oaklawn, Illinois, to Robert and Sara (Burross) Moreau.
Lori was a bartender who enjoyed music and the people she bartended to. One of her favorite rock bands was ACDC. She worked as a waitress and bartender for Roskoe’s, La Porte. Lori enjoyed summertime, watching games shows, soaps, vampire shows, and Law & Order. She also enjoyed hanging out with friends and family. Lori was a hippy at heart.
Surviving are her one son, Alec Swanson of La Porte; one brother, Brian Moreau Sr. of La Porte; and niece and nephew, Lindsey Moreau and Brian Moreau Jr. both of La Porte.
Preceding in death were her parents; and one brother, Anthony Moreau.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100 with Pastor Bob Vale officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
