Thomas E. Kollar, 63, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022, at 6:08 pm in his home.

 

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.    

 

He was born June 20, 1958, in Gary, IN to the late Arthur and Oneta (Sypult) Kollar. In 2016  he married Laima (Bilaityte) Pranckus who survives.

 

Also surviving are a son, Tristan Kollar of Chicago, IL; step-daughter, Arune Pranckute of Chicago, IL; sister, Diane (Jeff Bartron) Petoskey of Thomasville, GA; and life long friend, Jeff Pangborn.

 

Thomas was a Senior Operations Technician at Cleveland Cliffs and a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, reading history, and Chicago sports.
