Aaron Lawerance Leonard Kessler, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 24, 2021 from his home.

 

Aaron was born on May 14, 1945 in La Porte, IN, to Lawerance W. and Esther H. (Fischer) Kessler.

 

Surviving are his former wife, Judy E. (Rigelwood) Kessler; brother, Rev. Karl H. (Dala) Kessler of Hideaway, TX; brother-in-law, Frank (Cheryl) Rigelwood; daughter, Jennifer Tucker (Chad) Mangold; granddaughters, Alexis, Ashlynn, Aleeyah, Gabriella, Guinnyvere, all of La Porte; nieces and nephews, Karis Kessler (Kenten) Waldrum of Dallas, TX, Stephanie Eicksted of Savannah, GA, Brittany Dodge of Pooler, GA, Frankie Rigelwood of Savannah, GA, and Joshua (Mary-Francis) Rigelwood of Jenkins, PA; great-nieces and nephews, Riley, Andrew, and Hadassah Waldrum of Dallas, TX, and Grace Kyra Rigelwood of Jenkins, PA.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, James Kessler; and cousin, Carol Randmark.  

 

Aaron served in the Army Reserves.  He worked as a Forklift Operator at Scott Foresman Book Company.  Aaron enjoyed long-distance running and competitions.  He was a Sunday School Teacher for the teens at Kingsbury Baptist Church for 10+ years.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held by the family at 1 pm on Friday, January 14th, 2022 at Kingsbury Baptist Church with Pastor Barry Brown officiating.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
