Janice Elaine Hahn, 86, of Michigan City, Indiana passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021. She was born on July 9, 1935, in La Porte, Indiana to Lawrence Haferkamp and Elsie Mae Gordon. She was a homemaker.

 

On April 4, 1964, in La Porte, Janice married Melvin Hahn who preceded her in death on January 2, 2013. Surviving are her children, Lori (Tom Bagley) Lambert of La Porte, Jeff Lambert of Macon, Georgia, Kristi Hahn of La Porte, Jay (Chrissy) Hahn of Winnetka, Illinois; and grandchildren, Evan, Gannon, Taylor, Connor, Erin, and Alanna. 

 

Janice was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in La Porte.

 

Visitation will be from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Thursday November 11, 2021, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Reverend Dr. Kendall Schaeffer will officiate. Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte.
