Eugene Myers, 87, passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at his home, surrounded by his family.

 

Eugene was born on November 18, 1933 in Linton, IN, to Orville and Elma (Miller) Myers.

 

Surviving Eugene are his wife of over 60 years, Beverly Myers of La Porte; children, Juli Moore of La Porte, Wanda Smith of Fish Lake, Robert (Kandie) Myers of Fish Lake, Leona (Doyle Sr.) Keeling of La Porte, and Kenny Myers of La Porte; 12 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 1 great, great-grandchild; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

 

Eugene worked in maintenance at a local golf course.  He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, mowing and working in the yard.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  .
