Floyd W. Schrock, 86, of La Porte, Indiana passed away September 18, 2021. He was born on September 7, 1935, in Plaine City, Ohio to the late Valentine and Barbara (Yoder) Schrock. 

 

On January 22, 1973, Floyd married Darla Shrader who survives with daughters, Pamela of Florida, Lisa Conley of La Porte; sons, Rodney (Cynthia) Schrock of Utah, Patrick (Carrie) Conley of La Porte; grandchildren, Dakota, Shiane, and Joshua Conley, Jerad, Aaron, and Megan Schrock; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ernie (Jan) Schrock of Ft. Wayne.  He was preceded in death by a son, Randy and nine siblings.

 

Floyd was the owner of Schrock Grocery Shoppe in La Porte and several Burger Dairy Stores in the area. He was also an Auctioneer and a licensed Real Estate Agent. He was a member of the First Church of God in La Porte.

 

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct 1, 2021, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana, where a funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. Pastor Rick Jones will officiate.
