Julie Ann Fish, 59, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Life Care Center of Michigan City. Julie was born on November 6, 1961 in La Porte, IN, to Billy and Wanda (Garab) Hostetler.

 

Surviving Julie are her children, James (Sarah) Fish and Jill (Jake) Nekvasil, all of La Porte; six grandchildren, Hadley and Wyatt Fish, and Nora, Justine, Jolene, and KJ Nekvasil; mother, Wanda Hostetler of Edwardsburg, MI; four sisters, Debbie (Kevin) Smith, Vickie Gourley, Marsha Smith, and Connie (Wayne) Bellinger, all of La Porte; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.

 

Julie was a homemaker. She enjoyed refinishing furniture, antiquing, and going to garage sales. She had a heart for helping others and a gift of finding a bargain. She loved being a grandma, or "JuJu", most of all!

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering for close friends and family will be on November 6, 2021 from 1-3 p.m. at the Share Foundation (the John Laguna Family Senior Center Building), 6617 N. 300 E., La Porte, IN 46350.
