Asa J. Comeno, 29, of La Porte, Indiana unexpectedly passed away at his home, Sunday, September 12, 2021. Asa was born September 22, 1991, in Renton, Washington to Virgil and Tamala (Worthington) Comeno.

 

On October 14, 2017, Asa married Ashlie McGuire who survives. Asa was a chef for Albano’s Pizza, and he was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. He was a part of an online gaming community and will be missed by friends around the world.

 

Asa is survived by his wife, Ashlie; his children, Kilian and Charlotte Comeno; his mother, Tamala (Brian) Frost of Federal Way, Washington; maternal grandmother, Sally Worthington of La Porte; a sister Emalie Frost of La Porte, Indiana; a brother, Jace Comeno of South Bend, Indiana; and his cat, Meatball. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Comeno.

 

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2021, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. A funeral service will begin at 7 p.m. Reverend Dennis Meyer will officiate.
