Darlene Ann McCoy September 7, 2021 Darlene Ann McCoy, 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Fountainview Terrace, La Porte.

Darlene was born on May 9, 1940 in La Porte City, IN, to Bernard and Lois (Barnes) McCoy. Surviving Darlene are her daughter, Anna McCoy of Puryear, TN; granddaughter, Aaliyah James of Puryear, TN; son-in-law, Ryan James of Puryear, TN; nephew, Marc (Lisa) Schoof of La Porte; niece, Lois (Michael) Swanson of Rolling Prairie; as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister, Arlene Schoof; and brother-in-law, Mel Schoof. Darlene was a server at McDonalds. She was a member of La Porte Assembly of God. Darlene enjoyed participating in SAMs (Sr Adult Ministry) and spending time with her family.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. A private family service will take place at a later date.
