Catherine “Cathy” Louise Warner, 62, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 11:42 p.m., Friday, September 3, 2021 at Northwest Health, La Porte.

 

She was born July 18, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky to Minnie Pearl (Ward) Greer.

 

Cathy was a homemaker who enjoyed watching movies, online coloring books, singing Karaoke and cooking Italian food. She was a former member of Eagles Club, Louisville, Kentucky. Cathy loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren.

On July 18, 1998, in Louisville, Kentucky, she married Billy Roy Warner, who survives.

 

Also surviving are her five children, Brandy Brewster of North Yarmouth, Maine, Linda Ann “Pooh” (Stan) Kniola of Michigan City, Shantelle (Greg) Dedicke of Niceville, FL, Roy (Jodi) Warner of Springhill, TN and Shannon Melgard of Knoxville, TN; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Frances Warner of Louisville, KY ; fourteen grandchildren, Shawn Hill, Julian Hill, Emma Kniola, Ryan Kniola, Dane Kniola, Alyssa Hilbers, Addison Hilbers, Gregory Dedicke, Anna Dedicke, Lexi Hawks, Aubrey Hawks, Cobi Melgard, Ethan Warner and Bella Warner.

 

Preceding in death were her mother; stepfather, Joseph Greer; and maternal grandmother, Louetta Clagget.

 

Cremation will take place. There will be no services. Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, (219) 362-3100 is caring for the arrangements.
