Earl “Bud” Everett Talbot, Jr., 90, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Monday, September 6, 2021.

Earl was born on September 5, 1931, in Moline, Illinois. His parents are the late George and Helen (Holland) Francis.

Bud served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict where he was a Clerk-typist at Darmstadt, Germany. He belonged to the VFW and the American Legion in Arizona. He retired as a retail manager in Nevada.

Bud is survived by his children, Karen Mazzetti of Texas, Steven Harrington of Florida, and Kevin Harrington of Tennessee; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and a niece, Sue Ann Talbot of La Porte.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Linda Stanley; a brother, Richard Talbot; and a sister, Joanne Plouffe.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, September 11, 2021, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

A Funeral service will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. Reverend John Haferkamp will officiate. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
