Abrelia J. Bodmer

Abrelia J. Bodmer, 79, passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at her home.

 

Abrelia was born on October 21, 1941 in Saldee, Kentucky. 

 

On December 8, 1972 in Knox, Indiana, she married Frederick Bodmer who preceded her in death on September 16, 1999.  Surviving are her children, Charlotte A. (Fred) Pastrovicchio of Stuart, Florida, Brian E. (Kim) Landis of La Porte and John E. Bodmer of Tippecanoe; 5 grandchildren, Ashley (Trae) Pastrovicchio-Drazick, Evan D. Pastrovicchio of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Jesse K. Landis of Ohio, Quentin T. Landis of Ohio, and Ryan N. Bodmer of Plymouth; as well as other beloved family members. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. 

 

Abrelia was the matriarch of the family.  She enjoyed the great summer vacations the family went on when the children were young. 

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  A private family service will take place.  Burial will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery.
