Merry Rucker, 58, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021.

 

Merry was born November 6, 1962, in La Porte, Indiana to the late Glen and Jacqueline (Severs) Rucker.

 

Merry graduated from La Porte High School in 1980.  She graduated in 1984 from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. She was a board member of Meals on Wheels; a Packers, Brewers and Purdue fan.

 

Merry is survived by her siblings, Rebecca (Tom) Stupeck, Marcia (Dave) Shannon, Lisa (Matt) Bennett, Janet (Les) Robertson, Jeff (Mary) Rucker, and Gina (Tim) Teets; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

 

A Celebration of Life will be from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels, 620 Boston Street, La Porte, Indiana 46350.
